As part of the assessment on the feasibility of the creation of a new TCS on Built Environment Data, we are engaging a number of leading engineering research groups in Europe with a view to collectively set up the joint and harmonised of data, data products, services, and software (DDSS) related to buildings and urban infrastructure. In addition this consortium is also working on the definition of a governance structure for this potential TCS.
The organisations that have so far been involved in this endeavour are listed below:
- Eucentre Foundation, Pavia, Italy
- Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece
- École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland
- Global Earthquake Model (GEM) Foundation, Pavia, Italy
- Joint Research Centre (JRC), Ispra, Italy
- National Laboratory of Civil Engineering (LNEC), Lisbon, Portugal
- National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece

- University of Patras, Greece
- University of Pavia, Italy
- University of Porto, Portugal
- University School for Advanced Studies (IUSS), Pavia, Italy
We invite and welcome the involvement of all other research groups interested in contributing to the activities of this potential TCS on Built Environment Data to contact us.
